


Shri Gita Ashram, established in 1960 near Swarg Ashram on the sacred Nilkanth Road, Rishikesh, is a divine center dedicated to spiritual learning, service, and devotion.
Founded by the revered Brahmalin Mahamandaleshwar Swami Ved Vyasanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, the ashram continues to inspire seekers through the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, yoga, and selfless service.
Spread across 75 bighas, the ashram provides a serene environment for meditation, satsang, and spiritual growth.
This department conducts Geeta and spiritual discourses, yoga sadhana camps, etc., organizing programs for physical, mental, and spiritual upliftment.
This department conducts daily Geeta Gayatri yajna and regular yajna training camps.
This department publishes spiritual literature for the propagation of the study of the Geeta. For the past 68 years, it has published the tri‑monthly magazine Geeta Sandesh, daily prayers, and books on Brahmacharya Vrat, rules of Vanprasth and Sanyas Ashram, duties and regulations, etc.
This department provides free education to children up to the 5th standard.

This department looks after the service of cows in the Gaushala. Milk obtained from the Gaushala is used for the service of sadhus‑sants and for tea, etc.
This department arranges free tea distribution and meals for hundreds of sadhus, sants, guests, the poor, homeless, and disabled persons both times (morning and evening), and organizes bhndaras (feasts) from time to time.
This department provides accommodation arrangements for pilgrim devotees who visit the Ashram.
This department manages fruits, flowers, gardens, and fodder for the Gaushala in the Ashram.
Brahmalin Mahamandaleshwar Swami Ved Vyasanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj was born in Mirapur, Uttar Pradesh, into a respected Brahmin family.
He lived a life of intense spiritual discipline, performing rigorous austerities and deep sadhana, including multiple Gayatri mantra anushthans of 24,000 repetitions.
He traveled across India, Tibet, and Nepal, spreading the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and establishing numerous Gita temples, satsang centers, and educational institutions.
